- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Took my dog for his first visit with Dr. Sheppard today! It was originally supposed to be a routine exam and vaccinations but some issues had occurred between me making the initial appointment and the date of the appointment. Dr. Sheppard and the staff were extremely helpful when it came to listening about my concerns and letting me know what they recommended for treatment. I dropped my pup off in the morning to a friendly and attentive staff who explained exactly what treatments, procedures and labs were going to be done. I was kept in the loop the entire time my pup was there and when I picked him up I was told what medications and care was needed while he recovered. As a former vet tech I am greatful for how friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive the staff and doctors are at Big Lick.
